Impact Yoga Studio

Movement and mobility training by the windows

Power Vinyasa

Commonly called 'flow' yoga, Vinyasa strings together postures in swift, precise movements so you move seamlessly from one to another. No two classes are the same, with a focus on breathwork that helps prevent repetitive-motion injuries.

Gentle Yoga

A low-impact class combining intentional movement and controlled breathing to strengthen your mind-body connection. Perfect for beginners, those with injuries, and anyone wanting a mindful, slow, meditative practice.

Yin Yoga

A passive practice focusing on the deepest tissues: ligaments, joints, bones, and connective tissue. Longer, deeper-held poses work the hips, thighs, and lower spine to increase flexibility.

Athlete Yoga

Designed to support active lifestyles and athletic performance, blending postures and breathwork to improve flexibility, strength, and balance while targeting muscle groups often overused in sport, for recovery, injury prevention, and mobility.

Mindful Flow

A gentle Hatha-based practice bringing together postures, breath, and mindful movement, emphasizing foundational postures, breathing, and meditation to cultivate flexibility, strength, and balance. Perfect for beginners and all levels.

Yoga Nidra

Also called 'yogic sleep,' a guided meditation that induces deep relaxation while you remain conscious, often with a systematic body scan and breath awareness. Pair it with our Himalayan salt therapy den to enhance respiratory function and reduce stress.

Barre

Barre Intensity combines Pilates, dance, and functional fitness: small isolated movements to fatigue the muscles, large range of motion to elevate the heart rate, and upper and lower body sequencing for a total-body workout.

Yoga Sculpt

Foundational yoga combined with strength-building: resistance training, light weights, and bursts of cardio to elevate your heart rate, challenge your muscles, and build endurance.

Sound Bath

An immersive experience using sound vibrations from Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, and a crystal harp to shift your brainwaves into a relaxed, meditative state.

Robert Garrison, Boxing Coach

Robert comes to us as a Certified USA Boxing Coach, originally from Los Angeles, with 30 years of experience and 47 amateur bouts including the Golden Gloves. His boxing life started as a young man at Rocky's Left Hook, famous as the gym where Sylvester Stallone trained for the film Rocky. In his US Navy days he added four years fighting in Smokers and special events as an exhibition boxer, and competed in Judo. Robert rose through the ranks in Bridgeport, CT all the way to the Golden Gloves in 1986.

Robert is also a Certified Massage Therapist specializing in trigger point and deep-tissue sports massage, and a 'Stretch to Win' Fascial Stretch Therapist (FST).
